wireless is that you do not have to have one cell phone, one plan, and
one provider for an annual period. Many contract plans ask you to sign
up for a minimum of one year, usually more; but not with prepaid
wireless. Your time and minutes are paid in advance and you are not tied
down if you are unhappy with the plan or the service.
Other than not wanting to
be tied down to one provider or plan, there are other benefits of
choosing prepaid wireless. Generally speaking, there are no credit check
or activation fees. Perhaps a credit check is something you would rather
not have done at the present time, but you still require a phone; this
gives you another option. Too often, people who have any sort of credit
problems feel they have no options left for them, when this is not the
case.
The choice of prepaid
wireless is a good one if you are not looking to sign up for a long time
or if you do not use your phone that often. If your phone is for
emergencies then this is a great alternative to paying a hefty monthly
fee. Often you have to buy the phone for your wireless plan, but you can
also bring an older phone to the merchant to see if that one can be
transferred to the prepaid plan.
